Fares Boueiz
Fares Boueiz is a politician Lebanon board.
Son-in-law of former President Elias Hraoui, it is named appointed Maronite of Kesrwan in 1991, at the station which his/her own father occupied, Nouhad. Between 1990 and 1998, it occupied the post of Foreign Minister, in the successive governments of Omar Karamé, Rachid Solh and Rafic Hariri, with a short caesura of a few weeks in 1992 before the legislative elections.
Re-elected appointed of Kesrwan in 1992, 1996 and 2000, its relations as well with Rafiq Hariri and Emile Lahoud were somewhat tended. It finds the government in 2003 as minister of environment within the last cabinet of Rafiq Hariri, before resigning in September 2004, in protest with the extension of the mandate of President Emile Lahoud.
It does not succeed in meaning with the various candidates with the elections of 2005 and renonça to be presented. It however invited to vote for the list of Michel Aoun without in so far as a true political agreement is not established between the two men.
