Fantasy leagues

The leagues Fantasy are virtual sporting leagues played on Internet covering a large range of collective and individual sports, such as the Football, Basket-ball, hockey, Golf, Baseball and American football, to only quote most popular. Developed in the Nineties with the USA, these leagues became almost a “sport” with whole share on the New Continent, so much so that the amateurs of sport seem more concerned and implied in their virtual leagues that in that of their preferred team. The majority of these leagues are free and accessible to each one.

Course of the play

The principle is to gather under a given league ten team belonging to a group of Net surfers. The owners train their teams thanks to a base of data of players (for a given sport) provided by the site lodging the league. The league fantasy proceeds in parallel with the real league and the real statistics of a player at the time of a match then will be automatically deferred in the Fantasy championship.

Legends

In the USA, it is of habit to devote old sporting glories, film stars… ; by their nomination with the Hall off Famed, kind of recognition ultimate for any public personality. If there does not exist yet of Hall off Famed for the Fantasy leagues, there exist however legendary players as Zubak which was made known by its exceptional performances in particular in the American sports… in spite of a virgin prize list.
