Fantasy in the Sky

Fantasy in the Sky is an old fireworks of the parks Disneyland, Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Resort Paris, of which the representation was stopped between 2000 and 2005. He proposed with the public to revive more the great moments of the Disney films. Its final suspension in France marked the beginning of Wishes. But it seems probable that as for the American parks it is presented occasionally, three to four times per annum.

History

Walt Disney required has its teams a fire of artifices presented behind the castle of the beautiful one to Dormant wood of Disneyland in 1958 in order to make longer remain the visitors in the park and to answer at the request of night spectacles. Spectacles

Disneyland

This spectacle was required in 1958 by Walt Disney. But with the passing of years of many visitors did not remain any more to see a spectacle considering many times already. Thus the decision to change this spectacle " classique" at the end of the years 1990.

It was composed starting from elements of Fantasy in the sky and Believe and called Imagine… In Fantasy in the Sky .


Magic Kingdom

Fantasy in the Sky was reproduced as of the opening of the park in Magic Kingdom but in a more important version because of the size three times higher of the castle compared to that of California. The spectacle was stopped in 2003 and to the image of Disneyland a new fire of artifices was presented. Walt Disney Creative Entertainment created the spectacle Wishes , based on the creation of emotion among the visitors. The success of this spectacle was very fast and the main theme since became that of the park as well as the musical base for the Remember in Disneyland.

Disneyland Paris

In Disneyland Paris, the fire of artifices of Fantasy in the Sky was presented opening of the park the April 12th 1992 until the summer 2005 when it was replaced by a shortened version of Wishes (presented to Magic Kingdom) at the time of the 50e birthday of Disneyland. From 1998, the spectacle received another name: Tinkerbell' S Fantasy in the Sky or Fires of the Fairy Small bell .
