Fanta Damba
Fanta Damba is a singer Malian known in her country under the name of Large the High-speed motorboat Malian . She was born in 1938 with Ségou with the Mali.
Biography
Born in a family from Griots, with two parents musicians, it began in the Ensemble Instrumental National from Mali. In 1975, it starts a round in Europe which reveals it. It becomes one of the first artists to the Mali with being known universally. She is recognized to have been a source of inspiration for artist such as Mory Kanté, Youssou Dour or Rokia Traoré.
