Fant Rozec

Fant Rozec or Fant Rozeg , of its French name Francoise Rozec-Andouard , alias Fant Renea Meavenn (Meaven before 1945 to mean " I veux"), born in 1911 is a Breton nationalist in Saint-Marc, old commune amalgamated with Brest and died in Saint-Malo in 1992, Poète, novelist and playwright of language Breton.

Breton nationalist and relationship with Bezen Perrot

Managing Ar Falz with its creation in January 1933, it is recruited with Paris by Célestin Lainé in the clandestine organization Gwenn ha Of (terrorism) the. It is called by the press " the Red Virgin " , because its bond with Ar Falz, association of the teachers in favor of teaching of Breton, classified on the left, to see communisante, makes of it the incarnation of a socialist wing of the Breton Mouvement during the short period when the French Communist party justified the attacks in Brittany (1932).

A long stay in Ireland in 1932 plays an unquestionable part in its literary inspiration and most probably in its political evolution.

It leaves Rennes in the convoy of evacuation of the militia Perrot, in August 1944. Anna Debauvais the meeting in Paris where it hides with her companion Jean Chanteau, one of the chiefs of the Waffen-SS Bezen Perrot, letting Bezen Perrot carry on its way towards the Nazi Germany.

As many other survivors of the Breton national Left and Bezen Perrot, she flees in Ireland where she learns the Irish.

Woman of letters

She writes in the Breton reviews: Gwalarn , Arvor , Galv , Al Liamm , Breton Combat and Stur . She marries in 1935 Loeiz Andouard of which she has three girls and in 1944 leaves it. In January 1941, at the instigation of Roparz Hemon, it launches the new Breton weekly magazine Arvor with her husband. It also takes part in the monthly magazine Galv with Robert Cadic. She marries Jean Chanteau, former chief of Waffen S Bezen Perrot, and takes part in the politico-cultural review Ar Vro-Gwirionez in years 60-70, with the other old ones of the Breton national Party, Bezen Perrot, Arvor and Breiz Atao.

Its major work is the long news " Ar Follez yaouank" who inspired the scenario writer Jacques Allégret for his film " The young person folle" , but its attaching poetic work into Breton was not joined together.

She is greeted with her death in an article into Breton of the Breton Peuple, re-examined Breton democratic Union: a fraction of the founders of the UDB is resulting from the review Ar Vro.
