Fanny Parnell
Fanny Parnell (September 4th, 1848 - July 20th, 1882) is an Irish poetess . It is the sister of the Irish nationalist Charles Stewart Parnell.
She is born in Avondale in the Comté from Limerick, in a family of eight children. With died of the father in 1859, the family moves with Dublin. She leaves to Paris in 1864 with her mother, then emigrates in the United States in 1875.
She starts to publish poems in the newspaper The Irish People under the name of feather of Aléria. She takes part in the foundation of the Ladies' Land League , association the purpose of which is to collect funds of support for the Irish National Land League in Ireland.
