Family structure
The concept of family structure can indicate
- the composition and operating process of the family unit including the organization of the relationship: enters within the framework of such a definition the Nuclear family, the widened Famille or family complexes, the Single-parent family, the recomposed Famille, etc
- more specifically, the term is sometimes used to indicate the family systems defined by Emmanuel Todd starting from the observation of the family structures and the rules of succession, these systems being the object of her research in Social sciences;
- an unspecified entity corresponding to a family (one can for example indicate like a such establishment held by a family, a family company, etc)
