Family of our

Origin

It is a family of knights of origin Breton established and spread in the Maine since the 16th century, and which carries money to the sand lion crowned, armed and lampassé with mouths . It is particularly announced for its services in the sea and Armies. It draws its name from Island-of-Nos to Saint-Pôtan.

History

Branch of Hémenard

  • François of our , wire of Jean of Our and Louise de Chateaubriand, married in 1568 Charlotte de Jausson, rams Hémenard, was knight of the Ordre of Saint-Michel, gentleman ordinary of the room of the king, governor of Fougères, 1576, 1577. Mr. d' Angennes chooses it with three others gentilhommes to order the hundred men-at-arms raised by him for the defense of the Mans. He died in 1606. The tombs of the family are in the church of the Den.
  • Gilles of our , wire of François and Charlotte de Jausson, knight of the Order of the king and gentleman of his room. Lieutenant of the company of the Hundred gentlemen of the guard of the king, it accepted commission on the guard of the Château of Mareuil, November 2nd 1628 and died in 1640, leaving of Charlotte de Buor, married in 1599, inter alia children, Marie, woman of Charles of Are worth of Boisrault.
  • Gilles of Our , made in 1667 in front of Voisin of Noraie a Joint Declaration with his/her brothers: Rene, sior of Moussay, resident with Ernée; Philippe and Jean-Baptiste, who lived Montigné in Saint-Berthevin-the-Den. Having married Suzanne de Malnoë, Broken into leaf heiress of the, it left Hémenard.

  • Charlotte-Suzanne of our , duchess of Beauvilliers, lady-in-waiting of the queen, who répendit of great benefits in its grounds of Maine. She began with her expenses a road of the Forêt of Mayenne to Martigné, whose French revolution stopped work. In 1792, it lived street Bellechasse, n° 255, hid during the Terreur with Montrouge, and died the July 11th 1793. The chartrier of Pannard contains his correspondence of businesses.

  • Charles of our , born with Pannard, 1678, of Charles of Our and Marie Malescot, whose puîné son, Philippe, were killed with the combat of Malaga, 1704, ordered a company of its name to the regiment of Lyonese, 1734, and died in Pannard, 1745. Of its second marriage with Gabrielle of Corbière, it had Gilles-Rene of Our, killed with the Siège of Prague, July 28th 1742.

  • Charles-Henri-Marie of our , oldest son of the precedent, teaches with the French guards, emigrated, accepted a master's certificate, February 10th 1792, attended with the Siège of Maestricht, the Débarquement of the emigrants with Quiberon, gained after the defeat a launch with the stroke, and died in Münster, 1799.

  • Gilles of our , whose military services in the naval armies are remarkable, reduced itself the Louisiana under the obedience of the king.   • Gilles-Marie of our , wire of the precedent, count de Champmeslin, lieutenant, husbands of Marie of Our, inherits his/her brother, Jean-Baptist-Honore of our , marquis of Feuillée, second lieutenant to the regiment of the guards French, deceased in Lille of the continuation of the wounds received with the Bataille of Fontenoy, the March 13rd 1745, and dies in Brest captain and knight of Saint-Louis, April 27th 1754. It leaves for heirs his brothers: Nicolas-Pierre of our , Knight of the Order of Midsummer's Day of Jerusalem, lieutenant, captain of a frank company of marine, and Henri-Louis-Rene of our , bishop of Rennes, then of Verdun.
  • the count of our , died towards 1860, was an original which was interested in the historical memories of Ernée. The history of Saint Ernée especially impassioned it. He congratulated the Logeais abbot who, writing on the ruins of Boissière (Ernée), had sought to establish the seniority of the patronage of his saint with Ernée. Itself proposed it to join together in a volume all the local documents since the Celts. He denied obstinately the dogma of the Immaculate-Design.
