Concerning film
The actor Albert La Hague was really professor with Laguardia High School when he saw himself proposing the role of professor Benjamin Shorofsky. This role started again its career and it included it in the series which the film inspired. Ironically, it is one of the rare actors of the film (or of the series) to which Fame - celebrity - brought a true fame.
