Falling in between is the title of the last album on group Californien of Rock Toto, left in February 2006. This album is characterized by the mixture of many musical styles: Pop rock'n'roll, Funk, Folk, Jazz fusion, inter alia.
It is about the first album recorded with the second clavierist Greg Phillinganes, arrived in 2004 within the group. It is voice lead besides on one of the pieces of the album: Let it go . David Paich, the first Claviériste, collaborated in the writing of the songs and sings on two titles. In spite of that, the member cofounder of Louse remains in semi withdrawal. Ex members of Louse moreover took part in the recording of the disc such as Joseph Williams as a Chanteur (in duet on individual the Bottom off Your Soul with Steve Lukather) or Steve Porcaro as a sound engineer.
The album counts ten titles and has one duration bordering the fifty minutes. It gave rise to Falling in between turn, a world Tournée colossal two years in which all the members take part, until in end 2007/beginning 2008.
Their last album original Studio (thus without counting the album of recoveries) went back to 1999 ( Mindfields ). The group, in spite of this “absence” (of the radios only) seven years, largely satisfied its fans with this new disc.
