Fall Out Boy
Fall Out Boy (generally shortened by FOB) is a group of Pop - Punk/Pop - Rock of Wilmette in the suburbs of Chicago, formed in 2001.
History of the group
The Fall Out Boy Group sees the day in 2000. Composed of Patrick Stump, Andrew Hurley, Joseph Trohman and Pete Wentz, the rock group is invested initially on the production of a model éponyme which is born in 2001. Two years later, the quartet delivers its first true album, Fall Out Boy' S Evening Out with Your Girlfriend. The second opus of the formation, serious Take this to your , arrives in the vats in 2003. Follow My Heart Will Always Be B-Side To My Tongue (2004), From Under The Cork Tree (2005) which will make them famous following many passages to the media and Infinity One High (2007).
The beginnings (2001-2002)
Fall Out Boy is a group formed with the beginning of the year 2001 by friends Joe Trohman and Pete Wentz. Both played in various groups Punk hardcore of the area of Chicago. Shoulders by Rob Kat a friend of Joe trohman and as producer, They decided to launch their group in the same style as what they listened at the time such as Green Day, or The Smiths. Trohman met with the college Patrick Stump in a Borders store. Trohman was presented to Stump when he saw that he spoke about the group Neurosis, of which they are all the two fans. Stump was auditioned for the battery, but little time after they discovered its vocal qualities and he became the singer of the group.Two other musicians were recruited to play then the battery and guitar. During the year the group begin with the exit from an own-produced demonstration, followed the May 28th 2002 of the exit of Split EP , with the group Project Rocket. The group left a mini-LP Fall Out Boy' S Evening Out with Your Girlfriend under the label Uprising Records in 2003.
The group was without name for their the first two concerts. At the end in their second concert, they asked the public of the room if they had an idea of name. A spectator proposed Fall out Boy , a reference to the character associated with the Simpson which is the assistant of Radioactive Man in the original version. That is to say Atomic Servant boy in French.

Commercial beginnings (2005-2006)
August 1st Fall Out Boy saw really its celebrity separated with the first initials of their album Form Under the Cork tree, Sugar we' Re goin down. After a certain time of diffusion to the radio and on television, this song sucitée the interest of new fans not only because of the words, but also thanks to the video clip which puts in the high-speed motorboat a man-stag. The song Dance Dance followed little time after and definitively marked the group in the industry of the popular music.
Dedication (2007-actuellement)
In February 2007, the group leaves the album Infinity One High. The first extract of the album is the title This Ain' T has Scene, It' S year Arms Race which was classified #11 in France in the week of the May 20th to the May 26th 2007 and #5 in the world with 2.230.000 of copy of the sold extract.
