History
In 1994, one of the original teams of the LAH, the Indians de Springfield, was sold to investors who moved the frankness with Worcester where it became the IceCats de Worcester. Two former players of Indians, Bruce Landon, then managing director of Indians, and Wayne LaChance, owner of a local skating rink, assembled a team for the season 1994-95. The names of the indians being always under license, the new owners named their new frankness Falcons de Springfield in reference to Andy and Amelia, a couple of peregrine falcons, local popular symbol. Falcons were affiliated with two teams evolving/moving in the National league of hockey (LNH): the Whalers de Hartford and the Jets of Winnipeg fitting thus in the continuity of the seasons spent with Whalers. The first goal of the history of the team was registered by the defender John Stevens (which then shared the role of captain with Rob Murray).
