Falconidae
The family of the falconidés includes/understands the Faucon S and related species (Caracara S, macagua, Carnifex, Fauconnet S, kestrel S), birds of prey of small size with average (from 14 to 65 cm).
On finds them in all the areas of the world, except the Antarctic.
They occupy all the mediums, from the tundras to the deserts and with the tropical forests.
Falconidés are divided into 2 S:
- polyborinés : will caracararas, macagua and carnifex,
- the falconinés : falcons, kestrels and fauconnets
