The Faucon of Dickinson ( Falco dickinsoni ) is a Rapace diurnal African pertaining to the family of the Falconidae.

Etymology

This species was dedicated to John Dickinson (1832-1863), doctor and British missionary. It takes part in the forwarding of David Livingstone (1813-1873) but it dies of Paludisme to the Malawi. It is itself which collected the specimen of this falcon which allowed the description of the species.
