The Faucon of Éléonore ( Falco eleonorae ) is a Rapace diurnal pertaining to the family of the Falconidae.

Etymology

The name of the species was given in honor Éléonore d' Arborée (about 1350-1404) of Sardinia, celebrates to have established the first legislation of protection of the Rapace S, but the latter was probably intended to reserve the use of these animals to the only nobility.
