Falcon aldrovandin

The Faucon aldrovandin ( Falco severus ) is a Rapace diurnal pertaining to the family of the Falconidae.

Etymology

The French name of the species is dedicated to Ulisse Aldrovandi (1522-1605), large Italian scientist, celebrates in particular for its work in ornithology.
