The Falcon 900 is a business aircraft tri-jet of the range Mystery-Falcon of Dassault Aviation.
Announced in 1983 during the Paris airshow, this new plane derived from the tri-jet Falcon 50 aimed to propose on the market an intercontinental plane with a cabin much vaster to improve ambient comfort (from 12 to 14 passengers compared with 8 for Falcon 50). The first flight proceeded on September 21st, 1984 since the airport Bordeaux-Mérignac. The plane obtained its navigability certificate of the DGAC on March 14th, 1986 (March 21st, 1986 for its certification of the FAA).
Falcon 900A (1st flight: September 21st, 1984)
The first version is the 900 has equipped with the engines " TFE 731-5AR". Falcon 900 has was called " Falcon 900" as long as there did not exist other versions. Based on the Falcon 50, this first version takes again the aerofoil developed in 1976. This aerofoil will be also used for the twin-jet aircraft of the range the Falcon 2000.

Falcon 900B (1st flight: )
In 1991, Dassault Aviation proposed a new version, the " Falcon 900 B". This new version was remotorisée by engines Honeywell " TFE 731-5BR" (push of 4750lb) allowing to lengthen the passable distance from 100 Nm. Modifications of the landing gear allow the use of summary grounds and the Avionique is improved to allow landings on certified airports Cat II. The conversion ( retrofit ) of Falcon 900A into version B is proposed with all the clients.

Falcon 900Ex (1st flight: June 1st, 1995)
Launched in 1994, Falcon 900EX was developed on the basis of Falcon 900B. It accomplished its first flight on June 1st, 1995. The principal modifications concerned:
Falcon 900C (1st flight: December 17th, 1998)
Impetus in June 1998, this version replaces the version 900B to make benefit from all the systems improvements of Falcon 900EX to the customers not wanting the increase in the passable distance. This version makes it possible to reduce the price of acquisition of Falcon 900. The first flight proceeded on December 17th, 1998. It replaces Falcon 900B in December 1999 definitively.

Falcon 900Ex EASy (1st flight: )
Any developed last version, it is replacing it of the version 900C. What makes it possible the plane to lay out of a great number of improvements whose new EASy cockpit without having to support a significant growth of the price by keeping the fuel capacity of the version 900C.
