Fairbanks gene

Gene Fairbanks , born the August 8th 1982 with in the Queensland (Australia), is a player of Rugby to XV Australia N, retained in the group of the team of Australia for the round of autumn 2006.

He plays three quarter centers or half opening, he measures 1,78  m and weighs 85  kg.

Gene Fairbanks made its schooling in Downlands College in Toowoomba and it was invited to join Reds Rugby College in 1997. It begins in senior for the club from Rugby to XV from Easts. Gene Fairbanks makes its beginnings into Super 12 in 2003, for the Queensland Reds, in a part against the Waikato Chiefs with Hamilton. This same year it is selected in the team of Australia of less than 21 years. Its season 2004 for Reds was opposed by a wound with the foot during the pre-season.

It joined ACT Brumbies in 2005 and registers a test as of its first match against the Canterbury Crusaders. It makes two brilliant seasons in 2005 and 2006, which lead it to the doors of the national team of Australia.
