The failures avalanche are an alternative of the Jeu of failures conceived by Ralph Betza in 1977.
The rules are the same ones as in the usual failures, excluded the following ones:
- After having moved one of your parts, you must move one of the pawns of your adversary a box towards you. You cannot use the unfavourable pawns to capture and you cannot move the unfavourable pawns of two boxes ahead.
- If none the unfavourable pawns can be moved, the blow is simply played.
- If a player must move a pawn towards promotion, it is the owner of the pawn which chooses the part into which it is changed.
- If to move an unfavourable pawn the other player puts in failure, then the player gains the part immediately.
- It does not have there a Prise while passing.
