Fadela Amara is a political woman French.

She is the president of association Neither subjected whores nor and becomes the June 19th 2007, Secretary of State in charge of the policy of the City in the Gouvernement Fillon II.

Biography

From its true name Fatiha Amara , it was born in 1964 with Clermont-Ferrand. It is resulting from a family Algérie Kabyle of eleven children, it has four sisters and six brothers. His/her father was a workman out of building the week which worked on the markets the weekend. His/her mother was housewife.

Intending itself for studies of letters, it is finally directed towards a CAPE of employee. In 1978, with the 14 years age, Fadela Amara attends the drama which will change its life. His/her Malik brother is reversed by a car. He dies a few hours later. She says to be upset by the attitude of the police officers, who would have defended the roadhog on the spot even of the accident.

She takes part thus in the first civic walk in Clermont-Ferrand for the inscription of the young people on the electoral rolls. As of 16 years when the town hall of Clermont-Ferrand decides to entirely shave its district, it decides to make door-to-door to obtain the rehabilitation from it.

It takes part in 1983 in the walk of the beurs and militates with S.O.S Racism starting from 1986. She is elected in 2000 president of the National federation of the houses of the pals (FNMP).

In 1989, it sets up the “Commission women” whose main objective was to make an inventory of fixtures on the women of the districts and to hear the requests formulated by the population living in the districts.

She is then elected municipal adviser of the Socialist party in Clermont-Ferrand in 2001, but will never sit there.

In 2002, it organizes general states with the Sorbonne which joined together more than 250 women and it wrote a petition which counts close to 20  000 signatories, it installs a turn of France of association Neither subjected whores nor which will be completed with Paris the March 8th 2003.

In 2005, it is made doctor Honoris causa of the Universit3e libre de Bruxelles and in 2006, it receives a Honorary Degree for civil French rights campaigner of Manchester Metropolitan University.

It is member of the committee of sponsorship of the French Coordination for the Decade of the culture of peace and non-violence.

Near to the Think tank of the Circle of the Oratory, it takes part with her collaborator Mohammed Abdi in the review Brave New World (re-examined).

The June 19th 2007, it is named Secretary of State in charge of the policy of the city in the Gouvernement Fillon II under the supervision of the Minister for Housing and the City, Christine Boutin.

The October 9th 2007, it causes a polemic among the members of Parliament of the UMP while being declared against the use of test DNA to identify the children of immigrants within the framework of a family gathering in France by employing the " term; dégueulasse" for what she judges being a " instrumentalisation of the immigration". The tone goes up with the UMP deputies who multiply the vindicatory answers by media way; Patrick Devedjian, General secretary deputy of UMP, estimates the remarks of the Secretary of State " injurieux" for the deputies of the majority. This dispute nevertheless will be attenuated thanks to a meal organized by Patrick Devedjian, in order to " to learn with connaître".
