Factory Records is an English independent musical label created in 1978 by Anthony Wilson (Tony Wilson) with Alan Erasmus and Rob Gretton. From 1979 to 1982, graphic designers or agencies such as Peter Saville, Central Station Design or 8vo worked for Factory. Their work continues today to influence many contemporary graphic designers. The esthetics of the Label is particularly marked by the graphic design minimalist of Peter Saville: small pocket not indicating the name of the group, or even the title of the album.
