Facial vein

The facial vein walks on under the surface cervical aponévrose. It is born from the angle médial of the eye and goes down along the Muscle buccinator and from the Os mandible acconpagnant the facial Artère until joining the major venous network (thyro-linguo-facial trunk) while crossing the Muscle platysma. Several collateral joins it:

  • veins of the wing of the nose
  • higher labial veins
  • veins of the venous plexus ptérygoïdien
