In the night of the 4 to the May 5th 1976, twenty-two deflagrations shake the Corsica majority of the localities of , as well as districts of Nice and Marseilles. Printed in the Paris region with 20.000 specimens, and convoyed under rocambolesques conditions into the island, of the leaflets left on the spot carry the signature of the organization at the origin of what one will name from now on one “night blue”, of a width without precedent: the Face of national release of Corsica has just announced in a spectacular way its creation.

The FLNC is officially dissolves the January 5th 1983. It continues its armed actions and also acts under cover of the Corsican revolutionary Brigades (BRC) and of the Armée with Corsican national release (ALNC). In 1987, it gives itself a political wing: has Cuncolta Naziunalista.
The moderate tendencies create in 1989 the Accolta Naziunale Corsa (ANC), under the direction of Pierre Poggioli. From where, in 1990, another movement, more radical is detached: the Movement for self-determination (MPA), directed by Alain Orsoni.
In 1990, armed wings of the various movements appear. The extremists of FLNC gather in Historical FLNC Channel, those of the ANC in Resistenza, and those of the MPA in Usual FLNC-Channel.
The FLNC was opposed to other independence movements like the Mouvement for self-determination (MPA). The initials of the FLNC, layout hastily to painting, are visible on good number of road walls, panels, etc
