Fabián Dobles

Fabián Dobles (San Antonio de Belén, January 7th 1918 - San Jose of Costa Rica, March 22nd 1997) was a writer costaricain.

He settled with Atenas when he was small, and he studied the right there later, a career which he never exerted. He is normally associated to the writers of the " Generation of 40 " , a group of writer worried by the social changes, which appeared during the changes of the agricultural regularizations, at the moment when the industry of the coffee moved back in front of that of the banana, which creating a rural migration towards the port cities.

It occupied several public offices: Legal del Patronato Nacional of Infancia (PANI), subsidies, professor of the University of Costa Rica, with the Liceo of Costa Rica, etc It was imprisoned for membership of the Communist party, and then it had various employment until it finds a station with Prensa Latina , a publication of Havana.
