FRAM is a Tour operator French independent founded in 1949.
History
FRAM was born in 1949 in the spirit from a group of friends seeking to organize voyages in groups at low prices, a crenel then new. FRAM proposes initially voyages towards Lourdes and Fatima, of the places of pilgrimage, mainly in the bus and the train. FRAM laicizes then its destinations. The founders of FRAM are always with the orders. The image of the company was somewhat tarnished by the accident of a plane of Flash Airlines the January 3rd 2004. In 2006, FRAM adopts a new logo: “Sometimes, there are necessary to know to change to remain oneself”. This new Logo is, according to them, to mark their new ambitions and their engagement with respect to their customers. To date, the Coconut remains the emblem of FRAM.
Economy
FRAM has a rate of fidelity raised, which borders the 50%. The company is well established in Province, because it has 85 agencies and 105 spaces of resales franknesses (embassies). For a few years, FRAM has known important financial losses, due to the fear of the attacks and the tsunami of December 2004, like with errors of management. Moreover, the company is marked by tensions between shareholders, who ruined an attempt at bringing together with the Club Med in 1998, as well as the attempt at repurchase of Havas Voyages. Moreover, competition became hard, so much the prices of other tour operators are low.
