FIAT Doblò

FIAT Doblò is a vehicle " ludospace" modern, i.e. étymologiquement a space of leisures, which gathers in the same volume spaces and practical spirit. This definition exists from the exit in 1996 of the Citroen Berlingo: it is of a light utility of approximately 4,10 m profiting from 5 places and about a strong volume from load at a price appreciably lower than that of a monospace compact type Renault Scénic.

Thanks to these means of transport of a new type, FIAT offers to the international market a vehicle like Doblò with the optimal services with an unequalled quality-price ratio.

The FIAT Doblò proposes the greatest volume of load of its category (750 liters) and 7 sitted places.

The various versions proposed go from the van to family for 7 people in 4,25 m length; with a modular capacity of loading up to 3 m3, it becomes a small commercial vehicle.

Doblò is rather rustic since it preserves the suspensions at very unpleasant blades of the utility Doblò Cargo when the vehicle is not charged. On the other hand, it is practical with its two sliding doors and its Hayon with the Europalettes format (replaced by two leaves on the Cargo liner).

History

Presented in 2001, it has a body which would point out, by certain aspects, at the same time a station-wagon, a monospace and a SUV. It is manufactured by FIAT in Europe, in its Turkish factory of Bursa, and in Brazil in its factory of Betim.

When it is launched in 2001, very late on the Citroen Berlingo, the Peugeot Partner and on the Renault Kangoo, it proposes one 1.2 gasoline of 60 ch and a 1.9Diesel of 65 ch; these two engines being insufficient, even with vacuum, they are quickly assisted by one 1.6 16v of 103 ch and a 1.9JTD with common slope of 100 ch, ready to drive 1.300 kg of the machine.

The completions are then the SX, the ELX and Malibu, very clinquante with its false plastic chromiums.

These completions will be then replaced by the Active one, Class and Emotion employed in the remainder of range FIAT.

In 2004, Doblò Family, a Class model appears equipped with 7 places.

Doblò has benefit of light a restyling into 2005 which made it more pleasant in its family version. The motorizations suggested are 5 and include/understand an engine gasoline of the last generation of 1.368 cm ³ developing 77 cv, an engine with double food gasoline-methane and three diesel of Multijet new generation of 1.248 and 1.910 cm ³ developing 62 and 88 kw. All these motorizations respect the future standards anti pollution Euro 5.

This same year, the utility Cargo version receives a version with lengthened footing aiming at the higher category.

There exists even a called lengthened version Maxi with a capacity of loading of more than 4 m3.

Thus, Doblò takes over FIAT Fiorino while civilizing the concept.
