Mennecke inherits the presidency until 1906. The FCM 93 is affiliated then in Deutscher Fussball-Bund (German Federation of football) in 1904 and lines up among the best formations of Germany of the south, opening its prize list with a beautiful 3rd place on 6 clubs (behind the FC Bayern Munich and Karlsruhe) in the championship Südkreis de Süddeutschland in 1904-05 after the first place of the championship with three (FC Freiburg and Strasbourg SV) of Oberrhein.
- A. Schwartz obtains from his/her father the authorization to use the stage cycle-racing track of Mulhouse for the modest sum of one mark per annum (1906). The club is installed on this closed ground and its financial position improves after one season 1905-06 catastrophic. After this crisis of 1906, the return to the competition is cruel. The FCM 93 boxes one thus shingling 12-0 vis-a-vis Freiburg in championship of Oberrhein. Two years earlier, it was Mulhouse which gave the lesson to the neighbors Fribourgeois (5-0).
- In 1910, Joachim Bloch takes in hand the destinies of the club. It will preserve its presidential armchair until 1938. Right before the Great War, Mulhouse signs brilliances success and undertakes a round in France. CA Paris, recent champion of France, is even beaten by the Mulhousians. 1945-1980

It will give up this the last for long purgatory in Championship of France Amateur (C.F.A.) which will end in 1970-71 , which sees the FC Mulhouse playing in the National (competition open , makes the 2nd national division of it), to finish 8th Northern group. The club enracine then in D2. But the FCM relapses in the 3rd division in 1975-76 per two seasons before going up in 1978… and falling down again in 1979-80.
At this time, André Goerig accepts the presidency, names Daniel Bourgeois ex-pro of the club, Sedan, Metz, Red Star, Paris FC at the sporting position of director and Eugene Battmann (ex-pro of the club, of Sochaux and St-Dié) at the post of trainer.

1984-85 : Raymond Domenech sign as trainer-player with the club. Arrival of Raymond (known as max) Hild like person in charge of the formation. The FC Mulhouse fails of little for the title and is made beat with the last match of the stoppings by the Stage of Rennes, which goes up in D1.
1985-86 : Still 2nd behind Racing Club of Paris, the FC Mulhouse fails once again in stoppings vis-a-vis Nancy.
1986-87 : Third failure in stoppings for the Alsatian club, which had finished this season in the 3rd place.
1987-88 : 3rd of the classification, the curse of the stoppings strikes for the fourth time. The FC Mulhouse is seen barred for the rise in D1 by Lyon.

1991-92 : Arrival of Jean François Boetsch as President in the course of season. The club finishes 11th in spite of the arrivals of Bobby Mikhailov, Bulgarian international guard, of sound compriote Gueorgui Gueorguiev and Jean-Pierre Bosser.
1992-93 : Bernard Genghini becomes trainer of the FC Mulhouse. One season marked by the tragedy disappearance of Frederic Johansen, great hope of the club and n°10 of the team of France Hopes. The club finishes 11th and is fished out for finally taking part in Super D2 lately created. Yannick Stopyra is the best striker of the club (18 goals).
1993-94 : The club is maintained (13th) in the first championship of Super D2 which will have seen the majority of the teams fighting until the end for appearing well.
1994-95 : The FC Mulhouse finishes in the 14th place of the classification, it carried out nevertheless an excellent course in Coupe de France (eliminated in quarterfinals in Metz (D1) 2-0). The best striker of the club, Brazilian Cuca (23 goals) is lent for one year in Saint-Etienne (D1) with option to buy for the two following seasons. The contract of Bernard Genghini, come to a end, is not renewed. Christian Sarramagna, coming from Sedan, becomes the new trainer of the Mulhousian club.
1995-96 : At the conclusion one badly committed season, the FC Mulhouse finishes once again in the 14th place of the final classification and primarily saves its place in D2 thanks to a beautiful course during the return matches. A revelation: Breton the Laurent David was essential on the post of leader of play in the place of Bulgarian Gueorgui Gueorguiev which left the club in the course of season to join its native land. At the conclusion of the season, Frederic Garny, young attacker trained with the FC Mulhouse and player promising, is transferred to FC Sochaux.
1996-97 : One season rich in events of all kinds, in particular a turning at the time of the match of September 18th against Saint-Brieuc at the stage of It with the defeat of the FC Mulhouse. This reverse seals a missed beginning of the season. Jean François Boetsch, president since October 1981, resign like two other members of the Management Committee. In the weeks which follow, Marc Leon, a young head of undertaking, succeeds to him, with the head of a deeply renewed team. Jean Marc Butterlin, ex-chief of the service of the sports of the newspaper Alsace, becomes Managing director. Christian Sarramagna leaves the club and is replaced by Gilles Bourges, ex-guard of the FC Mulhouse which was hitherto responsible for the Training center. Very badly in point with the truce (20th), the FC Mulhouse then carries out a superb course from January in May 1997 (5th with classment over this period) and saves its place in D2. Final classification: 12th (better place and better total of points since the creation of Super D2). Eric Colling, Alain Ravera, Philippe Sirvent, David Guion, Marc Walter leave the club. Breton Pierre-Yves David (Saint-Brieuc), Richard Jeziersky (Troyes), Dianbobo Baldé (Marseilles) and Zico Tumba (Metz) arrive. Gilles Bourges is confirmed in his functions of general trainer and the return of Rolls Diaye to the head of Training center is greeted of all shares.
1997-98 : After excellent a first third of championship which sees it fighting with the best, the FC Mulhouse finishes the matches outward journeys in the 9th place before completely crumbling during the matches return. Roll Diaye does not replace Gilles Bourges at the post of trainer at four days of the end but the evil is too deep and the club is relegated in National. Roll Diaye does not become trainer of the professional team to the head of a deeply altered group, since two thirds of the manpower of the season leave Mulhouse.
1998 with today
1998-99 : Season marked by a succession of events leading to the supreme sanction, a voluntary liquidation, on May 26th, 1999 with 9:00. Roll Diaye does not ensure the training of the team Pro, Eugene Battmann that of CFA 2 and Jacques Berthommier is destined for administratitives functions after the lay-off of Daniel Bourgeois, Liliane Bonfatti, Paulette KUCK, Lucien Gunkel and Jean Luc Fournier. The drive and manpower were disturbed at the beginning of season, because of the uncertainty which weighed on the continuation of the activity and obtaining the statute pro, but also on consecutive late recruitment with this uncertainty.
After a beginning of modest championship, far away from the objective of rise in D2, Lamine Diaye does not decide to stop its function of person in charge of team 1. Eugene Battmann succeeds in December to him, Lamine Diaye finding the Training center. In same time, President Marc Leon withdraws presidency of the SAEMS for health reasons, following a heart disease. Francis Daverio takes over temporarily the duties of this presidency.
A group of people of the association of the tradesmen of Market of Mulhouse form, in January, an abstract association “Mulhouse 2000” charged to launch a subscription near 10000 companies and starting in order to face the increasing financial problems and to prepare the FC Mulhouse of the year 2000.
Because of the catastrophic results of the team trained by Eugene Battmann (4 consecutive defeats in residence) during this countryside, the subscription is a failure.
May 20th, after hearing of President Francis Daverio, the DNCG refuses to grant, for season 1999/2000, the renewal of the statute pro.
Sportivement, the team first finishes in the 15th place on 19. The team of CFA 2, very dependant on the difficulties of team 1, made a success of a good 9th place and revealed several young hopes or less than 17 years.
In addition, team 1 was eliminated from the Coupe of the League to the 1st turn, Amiens, and of the Coupe de France, with the 7th turn, by the Paris FC.
In front of all the sporting financial problems and, and in the absence of an entity able to make up the deficit and to bring insurances for the next season, the Board of directors decides to file for bankruptcy on May 21st, 1999. Francis Daverio and Maître Roger Meyer confirmed this voluntary liquidation at the bankruptcy court, on Wednesday, May 26 with 9:00.
This act marks the end of professional football in Mulhouse, puiqu' it was requested from the court a plan of transfer.
2004-05 : The FCM disputes CFA 2 to go up in CFA. After a superb course out of cut of France until in 32e of finale (beaten by Caen in front of 8.000 spectators at the stage of It), under the direction of the trainer Damien Ott, the team, unconquered of 19th at the last day, is classified 2nd (90 points) behind the team reserves Dijon (93 points). It is then the rise, something that the club had not known any more since that of 1989 in the 1st professional division.
2006-07 : The objective of the FC Mulhouse is the rise in National. The season does not proceed as envisaged and in spite of a good start of season, the Mulhousians ensure their maintenance only at the time of the last days of the championship. During the intersaison, if the club assists with the return of its former player (of time when the FCM evolved/moved in the second division) Frederic Garny, it loses especially many major players (Moritz and Matuzik with Colmar, and especially Saghir and Benali with ASIM), which lets predict difficulties for 2007-08.

The course of the suporters of the FC Mulhouse starts with the beginning of the year 1980, where the first horns appear, first flags. With the wire of time, several groups were created, and others disappeared. They are generally groups of extremists, therefore always present, in residence like outside, supporting their team, in particular by songs. Currently, there exist two groups of supporters: The Ultra Brigade 1988 (“B.U”), creates in 1988 by former members of the Fan Club Drei Eckland and the Southern Alsace Fans .
