Föhr

Föhr is a German island of the the North Sea in the Land of the Schleswig-Holstein, district of the septentrional Plank ( Kreis Nordfriesland ), of approximately 83 km ² and 8.600 inhabitants. The island extends on 12 kilometers length for 6,8 broad. It counts the 11 communes of Alkersum, Borgsum, Dunsum, Midlum, Nieblum, Oevenum, Oldsum, Süderende, Utersum, Witsum and Wrixum which form the canton of Föhr-Countryside ( Amt Föhr-Land ) and the town of Wyk where approximately half of the insular population saw.
