Férion mount

The mount Férion (1 412 m) in the Préalpes of Nice dominates the villages of Levens, with its vast green plate, and of Coaraze, coiled over a small eminence, in the the Alpes-Maritimes.

It is the culminating point of the chain of Férion , directed North-South, which delimits, in the west, the communes of Levens and Tourrette-Levens, and in the east, the communes of Coaraze, Bendejun and Châteauneuf-of-Tales.

The collet of Holy Spirit and the brook of Campon, on the commune of Duranus, mark the northern limit of the chain, which includes/understands, while going down towards the south:

  • Peïra,
  • the fall of the Mine (or stops of Milon),
  • the Férion mount,
  • the fall of Bendejun (or collar of Rosa), 916 m,
  • Stuck it Barma, 944 m,
  • Stuck it Based, 881 m,
  • the bar of Lendre,
to come to finish with the collar of Châteauneuf, 626 m of altitude.
