Félina
Félina ( Wolfsbane in English) is a character pertaining to the Comic S of the Univers Marvel.
Félina, Rahne Sinclair of its true name, was one of the founding members of the team of the Nouveaux Mutants; young supermen gathered by the Professor Xavier to replace the X-Men which he believed then deceased.
Capacities
Félina is a lycantrope, or Loup-garou with this close which it is not subjected to the lunar cycles. Its capacity transferring enables him to change into wolf constantly, but also to adopt an intermediate form semi-woman, semi-she-wolf, combining the best attributes of the two species. Equipped with very sharpened directions, Rahne has also an astonishing capacity of re-establishment, probably due to a factor healer belonging to his change. In its shape of wolf, the force, speed, the reflexes and the directions of Wolfsbane are similar to those of a wolf. In its shape of wolf Wolfsbane has a vision ultraviolet and with infra-reds. Consequently, as a wolf it perceives things thanks to heat. Thus, it can see things even in the darkness. It can hear the noises which are beyond the range of human hearing. When it is in the shape of wolf it can also detect the odors that the human ordinary ones cannot, and thus, it can track somebody starting from his odor like a wolf or a dog.
Wolfsbane preserves practically all its human intelligence when it is in the shape of a wolf. It does not have the instincts of a wolf, and must thus learn how to employ its capacities. When it is in the shape of wolf, it has the vocal bodies of a wolf, and cannot thus speak. But in its shape of wolf, it can communicate télépathiquement with its former team-member Mirage, Danielle Moonstar thanks to the capacity of this one.
Biography
The evolution of Rahne probably appears among most interesting of universe X. Orphan Scottish high in hard by the fanatic reverend Craig, Rahne was a teenager rather badly in her skin and not very sour of it. The reverend overpowered it permanently, treating it of pecheress and fustigating all his desires. When at the 14 years age, Rahne expressed its capacity for the first time, the reverend believed it had by the demon and poor the gamine was found about to be lynched by a crowd of mad villagers. She was fortunately saved by Dr. Moira MacTaggert which collected it and finally entrusted it to Pr Xavier. This last then gathered the New Mutants, a group supposed to replace X-Men that he believed deceased. The intention of Xavier was not to recruit a team of combat, but to offer a sanctuary for mutants like Rahne to be free of oppression and to learn how to better employ their capacities. However, as with the original students of Xavier, Rahne and his team-members frequently found themselves confronted with the evil. Little time after Xavier trained the team, this one leaves the ground, leaving its former principal enemy Magnéto. Magneto had only very little to do with its students, and they were implied more and more in dangerous adventures without permission. Consequently, Rahne went in lost civilizations, space, other dimensions, and travelled in the past and the future.
Raised by a priest in Scotland, Rahne continuously copies its behavior compared to its religious education. It is a little timid, extremely fragile and was always underestimated. Its religious faith always made him believe that its lycanthropie was a curse of the sky. It is interested much in the literature fantasy, and likes to think like a princess of fairy tale. She is certainly most innocent of the New Mutants.
Rahne quickly bound friendship with its new fellow-members, in particular with Dani Moonstar, and finally learned how to live without being ashamed of what it was.
One of the 1st traumatism lived by Rahne as a new mutant is the loss of control of its capacities, loss which has also affected its team-member Roberto (Sunspot) DaCosta. She even later was killed and ressuscitée by the being known under the name of Beyonder. She was removed much from time and knew much violence, particularly for somebody as innocent as she. Sometimes Rahne was comforted thanks to visits with his/her mother, Moira MacTaggert, but the major part of time, his/her friends represented his family.
Of a rather timid and romantic naturalness, Rahne was secretly amourachée of the majority of its male fellow-members, but it is with Doug Ramsey (Cypher), that a idylle finally seemed to be profiled when the unhappy boy was assassinated while trying to save it. The feelings of Rahne also turned to Sam (Cannonball) Guthrie, but he hardly did not notice it. Later, Illyana, that Rahne had learned how to like, regressed of adolescence to childhood. At this time, the X-Manor was destroyed, and Magneto gave up its students, and they were all alone.
Joining Rictor and Boom Boom of X-Factor, they were soon with Asgard. There, Rahne began another relationship with Rictor. When they left in Asgard the best friend of Rahne, Dani, this one had much evil to leave it.
Some time later, whereas Cable had taken again the direction of the team, Rahne was removed and undergoes an experiment which changed it into a slave on the island of Genosha. Inter alia consequences, Rahne became unable to take again its human form. It adopted an increasingly bestial behavior, became violent and horrified by the appearance of which it was captive. It integrated nevertheless X-Factor, which was then under the control of the government and carried out by Havok (Alex Summers) of which it éprit wildly but this bond was created of all parts with Génosha.
Rahne ends up curing and finding its humanity thanks to the intervention of mutant Haven. It turned over then to Scotland where it integrated the team of Excalibur during some time. She could thus take care of cd. McTaggert which suffered from the Virus Legacy, to regulate her accounts with the reverend Craig and especially, to make the mourning of her late friend, Doug Ramsey.
At this Rahne time changed much. She always had very preserving thoughts, but was not any more the timid little girl who wore a shirt above her bathing suit. She requested always, but not with the fear of the eternal curse. For an unknown reason, its hair finally started to become longer.
These last years, Rahne also lived the disappearance of Illyana (Magik) Rasputin and of its brother Peter (Colossus) Rasputin. At Excalibur, Rahne and Douglock began an unfortunate passing fancy. She learned then that Douglock is actually Warlock, with the memory from Doug.
During a meeting of the new mutants, Rahne and its team-members met their younger doubles, and had to make a tearing good-bye with Illyana and Doug once again.
Rahne had changed already much, but two major events were still going to upset it. The mutant terrorist Mystique (Raven Darkholme) deprived it of his mutant capacities and assassinated Dr. McTaggert. Rahne disappeared then some time, seeking the lapse of memory, before returning to the Xavier institute under the features of an young woman shameless and diablement sexy. The timid and prudish little girl of the New Mutants did not exist definitely any more.
Although dispossessed of its capacities, Rahne returned to the institute where the young woman had an adventure with Josh Foley (Elixir), one of the pupils of the institute whose capacity suddenly returned its capacities in Rahne. Losing the control of itself at once, Félina wounded seriously Josh (episodes 11 and 12 of the new series baptized " New Mutants"). The boy was saved by his own capacity car-healer and Dani Moonstar managed to reason Rahne which returned finally to the institute.
There, a team of young mutants, named the Paragons, was entrusted to him. But its adventure with Elixir is discovered and it decides to leave the school.
Lastly, it seems that Rahne integrated lately the new grinding of team X-Factor Investigation, a kind of agency of mutant detectives, at the sides of Multiple-Man (Jamie Madrox), Malabar (Guido Carosella), Cyrène (Theresa Rourke) and Rictor (Julio Esteban Richter).
Loves
Since its team-member Roberto (Sunspot) DaCosta embraced his hand by greeting it, Rahne always showed an lively interest for the opposite sex. Its first very favorite was for Sam (Cannonball) Guthrie, although it never had feelings for it others but friendly. In its attempts to allure Sam, Rahne was embarrassed many and many times. It often expressed its jealousy towards Lila Cheney, the boyfriend of Sam. Sam is always expensive in Rahne, and this one “adopted it” like little sister.
Its second romantic interest was not human; it was Prince Loup Hrimhari. Their attraction was between them obvious, although they never had a true report/ratio.
Rahne then started to be interested in its team-member Doug (Cypher) Ramsey, and both had a mutual feeling one for the other. The few moments that they had were soft but unfortunately Doug was killed.
Shortly after Rahne started to be interested in Julio Esteban (Rictor) Richter, which had the honor to be 1st to embrace Rahne.
Their relation finished when Rahne underwent experiments with Genosha. She had then a strong hormonal agitation which did it ruer on Alex and Jamie Madrox (Multiple). Rahne saw Ric again and had its second impassioned kiss.
Its jealousy towards Lorna Dane (Polaris) (partner of Havok) became violent thereafter. Fortunately Rahne was treated by Haven before many damage are done.
When the extraterrestrial known one under the name of Douglock appeared, supporting similarities not only with Warlock but also with Doug Ramsey, Rahne immediately treated it as a friend and quickly both started a relation. Although they shared a kiss, they remained friendly. Douglock has since overdraft which it was in fact Warlock, but with the memory of Doug Ramsey.
Josh Foley (Elixir) was interested in Rahne as soon as it posed the eyes on it. It was attracted by Josh, and it is while being embraced that it recovered its capacities. Kevin (Wither) Ford exposed them to the teaching body, making leave Rahne the school of shame.
Known enemies
The average mutant never misses enemies, and Rahne does not make exception. The first time that it faced the danger was when the reverend Craig drove out it and tried to burn it with the assistance of villager pharisaïques. While Xavier collected the five new original mutants, Rahne and the others were found in a combat with Donald Pierce, the cyborg which was previously a member of the interior circle of the club of Damnés. Rahne was severely wounded in confrontation, but in little entirely cured time.
Rahne faced the Sentinelles almost as soon as it arrived at the United States.
Rahne and the other new mutants were on several occasions in competition with the Hellions, another team of initial mutants of the academy of Massachusetts (a school directed by the Club of Damnés). Although Rahne always was in good term with Catseye, the Helium nuclei remained its rivals.
During the second secret war, Rahne and the remainder of the new mutants were massacred by the Beyonder, being the Almighty. Beyonder has them ressuscity, but in the process, Rahne and the remainder of the team lost much of their formation and suffered psychological damage.
Little time afterwards, Rahne and the whole team were enlisted at the Helium nuclei of the white queen. Its intentions were far from benevolent.
Although the power of Rahne could seem relatively not very impressive, it faced enemies of incomparable force. It faced the father of Warlock, Magus.
Karma, the team-member of Rahne, has for one long period had by the known malevolent psychic entity under the name of Amal Farouk, the king of shade. Farouk because with the young mutants much of sorrow and wounds before karma is finally saved.
When the new mutants were captive of the scientist maniac the Ani-Mator, the spirit of Rahne was almost broken. His/her friend Doug (Cypher) Ramsey was killed in the battle, just when a history of love started between them.
In this same Rahne battle met for the first time Cameron Hodge, which was later responsible for experiments on Rahne. By this process it created mutant slaves. Although she was partially cured after X-Men have demolishes Hodge, it was necessary a long time before Rahne is entirely cured by Haven. Up to that point, Rahne could not turn over its form. The torments of Rahne during this time were almost unbearable, and made of it somebody of very aggressive.
While she that was partially cured, Féral fought Rahne in a bloody battle.
More than the reverend Craig, perhaps that the largest enemy of Rahne is Mystique, which killed his/her adoptive mother Moira MacTaggert. Rahne swore revenge the night when Moira died, but since then, both did not cross.
