Eyes Wide Shut

Eyes Wide Shut is the last feature-length film of Stanley Kubrick, left in 1999. Film adaptation of the News dreamed ( Traumnovelle , 1925) of the Austrian writer Arthur Schnitzler to which Kubrick wanted to remain faithful and which raises the question: What the other? Who is the woman or the loved man? Which is this being which I chose and who chose me, who is thus nearest and at the same time most foreign for me?

The film puts in scene in the main roles the couple Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

Synopsis

After the consent by his wife (Nicole Kidman) whom it failed to yield to the temptation of another man, Doctor Hardford (Tom Cruise), obsessed by this revelation, loses in the New Yorkean night . He then returns visit to a friend pianist in a night club, this last speaks to him about sexual evenings secret and crested, Doctor Hardford will be trained in one evening orgiaque masked.

A voyage enters reality and the imaginary one.

Film analyzes
