Extracorporal Circulation

See also: CEC

The extracorporal circulation (CEC) is a circuit artificially created by aspiration of the blood (by a Cathéter or a Fistule) which passes in a pump and is reinjected with the patient. This loop allows treatments such as the interventions of cardiac surgery, the Hémodialyse (kidney machine) as well as the meetings of artificial liver.
