Explorers is an American science fiction film carried out in 1985 by Joe Dante.

Synopsis

Ben Crandall is a young boy impassioned by the extraterrestrial ones. One night, he dreams of a gigantic printed circuit. With the assistance of his/her friends Wolfgang and Darren, they manage to reproduce this circuit and discover that it is used to build a spaceship!

One can read on the first page of a newspaper: " Kingston Falls mystery still unsolved" ( the mystery of Kingston Falls remains whole ). Kingston Falls is the name of the city where the action in Gremlins (1984) proceeds, also realized by Joe Dante.
the computer used by Wolfgang to control the bubble, then the vessel, is a APPLE II C, left in April 1984 and which was equipped with a processor with 1.4 MHz and 128 KB of RAM.
