History

The organization of the college as well as the mode of recruitment of the pupils knew three stages. During the first six years, the college receives the pupils having brilliantly made a success of the entrance examination in first year of secondary education, generally with an average higher than 17 out of 20. Within sight of the reform of the Tunisian Education system by which the entrance examination in first year of secondary education is removed and in waiting of the introduction of the diploma of end of study of basic teaching, one proceeds, as from the school year 1995 - 1996 it during three years, with the organization of a contest open to the pupils of third secondary year in order to recruit them in fourth year. In September 1998, the college receives the first promotion having excelled the diploma proof of end of studies of basic teaching.

Since the creation of the college, in addition to traditional programs, teaching stressed the Informatique, the physical sciences and the English for all the pupils as from the first secondary year. The passage to the higher class is dependant on obtaining a general average higher than 12 out of 20 and, in the absence of this result, the pupil must choose another public corporation. As from 1995, the passage must take account of the arithmetic mean of the primary products which must be higher or equal to 12 out of 20 and one higher general average or equalizes to 10 out of 20.

Following the wishes formulated by the pupils and their parents, only two sections are retained, namely the section applied sciences and the section Mathématiques, which do not prevent the pupils from requiring various optional subjects such as the German , the Italian , the Spanish , the Visual arts and the Musique in addition to the data processing which becomes obligatorily the first option.
