Exosquelette
A exosquelette or external skeleton , in opposition to Endosquelette , is an external anatomical characteristic which supports and protects an animal. Many Invertebrate S, like the Insect S, the Crustacean S and the Mollusc S, has a exosquelette. The abdominal part of a exosquelette is commonly called “Carapace”.
Scientific research currently tries to develop exosquelettes Biomécanique S for medical or industrial needs. They are versions modern and technical armours of the knights of the Moyen-âge, when they wrap human beings or they are the Peau robots humanoïdes.
