Exhibition site of Pau

Still called fair expo , the exhibition site of Pau is located at the west of the town of Pau, close to the roundabout to the crossing of the boulevards of Alsace Lorraine and the street Mermoz, not far from the Parc Lawrence. It is connected to the Place of Verdun by the street Michelet.

It accommodates 450.000 visitors and 200 demonstrations per annum: living room of the vehicle of occasion, annual stock sale, living room of the antique dealers, data-processing living room, canine contests, living room of the marriage, floral festival, etc…

It includes/understands several markets making it possible to carry out the various events: Béarn - Adour - Winder - Ossau - Country of Drunk - Aragon - Baretous.

It comprises two entries:

the main entrance, with a streamer in arc of circle bearing the name " park of the expositions". With before a small public garden is.
the side entry is along the boulevard Champetier de Ribes. The access to this entry is given only by one crossing for pedestrians leading to the triangular carpark which faces him.

At the beginning of 2006, of external work were undertaken to refit the side entry, with installation of an arch to the top of the entry and repair of the buildings of sale of tickets. Lighting was also remade.

At time of the great demonstrations, circulation becomes difficult, the parking bays are done rare and the pavements are transformed into carparks.
