the Execution is a book of Robert Badinter reporting the lawsuit of Claude Buffet and Roger Bontems, which led them both to the Guillotine, whereas Bontems had never killed.
Robert Badinter, lawyer of Roger Bontems had a material proof clearing Bontems of the meutre: the knife of this last, a Opinel, which did not correspond to the marks left on the neck of the victims. But the report/ratio of expert attesting this fact was struck of nullity by fault of a Legal flaw , so that Robert Badinter could not make state at the time it of it lawsuit without incurring a disciplinary action. It did it nevertheless, but that did not modify the judgment of its customer.
This injustice revolted it and pushed it to fight the capital punishment, which is reported in its book Abolition .
