Evolution (attraction)

The Evolution is an attraction of the type pendulum, mainly used in the fun fair and amusement parks derived from the Afterburner, conceived by Far Fabbri.

Concept and operation

Attraction consists of a mobile arm maintained by a support in form of has high of 20 Mr. the arm are balanced and can carry out rotation complete. At the end of the arm 10 nacelles are distributed along the edges of a decagon. The nacelles can turn compared to the arm and can be inclined with 90° on it-mêem. Each nacelle takes on board 4 passengers maintained by harnesses.

Attraction is developed by two companies, Farfabbri and Nauta Bussink. The version of Far Fabbri takes on board 40 people and is smaller than that of Bussink, sometimes called Giant Evolution , with its 64 passengers. The version of Nauta Bussink was launched in 1992 and only 3 specimens were built.

  • Xcalibur builds in July 1992 under the name Evolution and transferred since 2003 to Six Flags St Louis, in the past held by open Eberhard.
  • Imperator , in 1993 attraction was present at Schueberfouer with Luxembourg, then of 1994 with 2003 in Prater with Vienna-under-Kny. In 2004, Eberhard repurchased attraction to traverse the fun fairs (whose Barry Island Fairground, with the the United Kingdom) but since 2005 it remains stored in a hangar.
  • Evolution present until in 2004 in a Japanese park. Dismounted and stored since in a warehouse with the Netherlands
