Evoloop

The evoloop (literally “buckles evolutionary”) is a structure autoréplicante of a cellular Automate particular to 9 states, introduced by Hiroki Sayama in 1999

The evoloop is a version improved of the Boucle SDSR, itself a refinement of the Boucle of Langton. Its structure changes and evolves to smaller loops using a process inspired by the natural selection.
