Evijärvi
Evijärvi is a municipality west of the Finland, in the province of Western Finland and the area of Ostrobotnie of the South.
It is a small agricultural municipality. For this reason, it is a bastion of the left the center, the old agrarian party. Without surprise, it is one of the communes where the social democrat president Tarja Halonen carried out the weakest score (exactly 8th the weakest with 27.8% with the second turn) at the time of the presidential election of 2006.
The common one belongs to the small area of the Lakes Ostrobotnie. The administrative center is built on southern bank of large the lake Evijärvi, which runs out towards the Gulf of Bothnia by the river Ähtävänjoki.
The municipalities bordering are Lappajärvi in south-east, Kortesjärvi in south-west, and side Ostrobotnie Pedersöre in the North-West and Kronoby in north.
