Evere

Evere is one of the 19 common bilingual of Belgium located in the Région of Brussels-Capital. Before 1954, the commune belonged to the Dutch-speaking part of old the Province of the Brabant.

At January 1st 2005, it counted 33 069 inhabitants (Everois) for a surface of 5 km ². It is located on the North-East of the agglomeration of Brussels.

It is bordering with the communes on Brussels-city, Schaerbeek, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and Zaventem.
