Sir Everard Home is a British Médecin , born the May 6th 1756 with Hull and dead the August 31st 1832 with Chelsea.
He is initially doctor-soldier, then first surgeon of the king and professor emeritus of the College of the surgeons. Home became member of Royal Society the February 15th 1787.
Home is the first to describe the Fossile Ichthyosaure discovered by Joseph Anning and Mary Anning in 1812.
It publishes many books on the Chirurgie and the Anatomie of which Lectures one Comparative Anatomy (4 volumes, 1814-1822), which are worth to him the Médaille Copley in 1807.
