the Evenings of the hamlet are news of Nicolas Gogol.
The first news would have been published in 1830 in Annals of the Fatherland under the pseudonym of Panko the Red, beekeeper . Other publications will suiveront until in 1843, year of joined together works, first tome cheese of the series gathered in the Ukrainian News .
the Evenings of the hamlet is a concentrate of local, Russian savors. It is a national literature Comique and Fantastique at the same time. The news is classified in two parts.
Nicolas Gogol made his beginnings with this exploration of the memories of these neighbors, these friends, his, that of the tales and local songs and also that of his/her mother. The whole retained in a notebook of which it will draw the stories ( note in the Pleiad ).
Nicolas Gogol will publicly comment on these first works like being writings of beginner, but the major inspiration of Russia is already present and this news is the cradle of future works.
