Eve Luquet

Eve Luquet (born the September 6th 1954 with Paris) is a dessinatrice and a French graveure of postage stamps. It draws stamps for the French post offices since 1986, and is the first woman to have created a Timbre of everyday usage for France, the Marianne of July 14th

Biography

In 1981, it leaves graduate the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the fine arts where it enters in 1976. She learns the Gravure on steel with the draftsman-engraver from stamps Jacques Jubert.

Its first postage stamps are carried out in 1986 and emitted the same year for the French postal service in Andorre, and the following year in France. Specialized in the Landscape S and the Monument S, it received the Grand Prix of philatelic art for the stamp “Bridge of Nyons - Drome” in 1995.

It is the first woman to have created a Timbre of everyday usage for France, the Marianne of July 14th , also said “of Luquet”, emitted the July 15th 1997.
