Evangelic church of Pélisserie
The evangelic Église of Pélisserie is the one of oldest evangelic communities of the French cantons . Exit of the mobility of the Alarm clock, of which Geneva was the starting point, its place of worship is in the middle of the old city of Geneva, street of Pélisserie.
Inaugurated the March 24th 1839, the vault was declared listed monument, on a purely historical and esthetic basis, by decree of the Council of State of the May 13rd 1992. This building, built by the Jacques-Louis architect To stitch, is characterized by its ogival style Tudor; it constitutes one of the first buildings Néogothique S of the city. The work of restoration carried out during almost 2 years and half (2003 - 2006) made it possible to return to this architectural “jewel” its beauty and its glare.
The organ is probably an organ of Walpen of the Années 1820 - 1830. It belongs to the Genevese musical inheritance.
