In France, the evangelic Churches Lutherans more often called Churches of the Confession of Augsburg . There are of them others like the Église Évangélique Luthérienne Synod of France and Belgium (EEL-SFB)
The majority of the Churches which formulate their faith thus are gathered in the world Fédération Lutheran (FLM). In France, are members of this federation, and brought together within a National alliance of the Churches Lutherans of France (ANELF) , two Churches:
- the Church of the Confession of Augsburg of Alsace and Lorraine,
