Eustace the Noble one

Eustace Noble the , born in 1643 with Troyes and dead the January 31st 1711 with Paris, is a Dramaturge and writer French.

Public prosecutor at the Parliament of Metz, the Noble one carried out a dissipated life and, condemned to have manufactured false acts, it was locked up with the Conciergerie, where it éprit of passion for Gabrielle Perreau, Beautiful Épicière, which was held there.

Having found the means of escaping with it, it published, to live, of the satirical dialogs on the businesses of the time, in which Bayle infinitely finds “spirit and of reading”. Prose in is clear, incisor, and frequently cut by worms which are not without merit.

The complete Œuvres of the Noble one were published (Paris, 1718,20 vol. in-12). the Pledge touched , Ildegerte, reyne of Norway , Zulima and the False Countess of Isamberg were reprinted by Slatkine in 1980.
