Eustace Restout

Eustace Restout , born with Caen the November 12th 1655 and died in Mondaye on November 1st 1743, is a Architecte, engraver and painter French.

Monk prémontré, died sub-prior of the abbey of Mondaye, Eustace Restout belongs to the famous family of the painters Restout.

It is on its plans which was built the church of Mondaye that it decorated with several paintings which were, since, transferred to the Cathédrale from Bayeux.

He was the Master of his nephew Jean II Restout.
