Eurovision contest of the song 1969

Results finally, on March 29th, 1969

  • the Liechtenstein makes speak about him, while wanting to subject a song to the Contest. The rules stipulate that a country taking part, must imperatively have a service of radio-television and be active member of UER. What is not the case of this country. Consequently, the song a beautiful morning , interpreted by Vetty cannot be in competition… That does not have any importance, because it was only about one joke of comic French Jacques Martin… Cependant, the song was recorded all the same.

  • the Spain, country host of the Eurovision is in the middle of the polemics because of its mode. As a sign of its disapproval, the Austria withdraws its candidature; the Netherlands make almost in the same way but take part finally in the Contest.

  • May I cuts your votes? : a certain number of misunderstandings oblige Monaco and the Spain to give again their points.

  • an organ is partly integrated in the middle of the scene; in the center, a metal sculpture surrounded by squares of flowers. The orchestra is on the right in withdrawal of the scene. The slides are decorated according to El Salvador Dalí.
