Eurovia

Eurovia is a company subsidiary of the group Vinci, present in Europe and America, which is specialized in the construction and the maintenance of the transport infrastructures (and in particular road structures).

Eurovia employs close to: 39000 paid distributed within 1250 industrial entities, in 16 country. Its seat is located at Rueil-Malmaison in the Hauts-de-Seine

Among the remarkable building sites, Eurovia renovated the Place Charles-of-Gaulle in Paris and the Place Stanislas in Nancy. It also took part in the installation of the coating of the Bridge Charilaos Trikoupis, connecting Rion to Antirion in Greece.

Trades

Eurovia has an activity burst in four trades:
  • the realization of road work (49%)
  • production of materials (17%)
  • the installation of the framework of life (26%)
  • the offer of service related to the infrastructures (8%)

Geographical presence

Eurovia carries out 57% of its turnover in France is 3.304 M€, in increase of 9,2%. This increase is primarily related to the development of the trams and the production activity of aggregates.

To note a still modest international activity and in weaker increase than the French activity:

  • Western Europe except France: 25% of the total turnover are 1.415 M€
  • Central and Eastern Europe: 10% are 553 M€
  • Americas: 8% are 486 M€

Innovating projects

Eurovia team since 2005 each site foreman of a Tablet PC, computer tools adapted to a use in outside. This shelf makes it possible to consult Intranet and to use its professional Email on the sites of work. It is equipped with the traditional software of Bureautique and a management software of building site, especially designed by Eurovia, Papyrus®. This one makes it possible to the site foreman to daily follow its building site and to update the central Information system of the Entreprise via a connection protected GPRS.
